The Government Accountability Office maintains FraudNET to facilitate reporting of allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement of federal funds.
In all cases, please provide as much detail as possible concerning the who, when, where, what, how and how much. You do not need to provide your name.

About the Information You Submit
What information should I submit? Provide as much detail as possible. You do not need to provide your name.
What happens to information you submit? The FraudNet form is transmitted over a secure connection, and we safeguard all information against unauthorized disclosure.
How private is the information? We use Secure Sockets layer (SSL) and GPG (GNU Privacy Guard) encryption to protect the transmission of the information you submit. Please read FraudNet's Confidentiality Policy: Individuals who provide information on allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement of federal funds may:
- Provide information anonymously,
- Provide information, provide your identity and contact information, and
- request that your identity be protected throughout the investigative process, or
- Provide information and provide your identity and contact information
- with no restrictions.
We prefer that you provide a way for FraudNet analysts to contact you in case we need more information about your submission. The FraudNet policy is to honor requests for confidentiality and not to release information that would identify such individuals unless required to do so by subpoena. This has never occurred in the history of the GAO FraudNet.
